Good News First: Your Golden-Pyredoodle is likely to be a low shedder! Thanks to their Poodle genetics, most of these fluffy beauties won’t leave tumbleweeds of fur rolling around your house like a Great Pyrenees or Golden Retriever might.
The Genetic Lottery 🎲 Here’s the fun part – it’s all about which parent your pup takes after! If they inherit more Poodle genes, you’ll get more of that coveted low-shedding, allergy-friendly coat that makes them perfect for families with sensitivities. Lean more toward Great Pyrenees or Golden Retriever genetics? Expect a bit more seasonal shedding (but still much less than the purebred counterparts).
Your Brushing Game Plan 🪥 Most Golden-Pyredoodles need brushing from time to time to keep their gorgeous coat looking fab and prevent any sneaky mats from forming. Those with curlier coats might get away with less frequent brushing, while straighter-coated pups benefit from daily attention. But keep them brushed and they’re stunning!

Goldendoodles are a fantastic all-around pet. They adapt well to different living conditions and activity levels. They’ll need exercise, of course, to stay healthy and will have lots of energy as a puppy (like all dogs!), but they’re great in-home family dogs – trainable, and terrific around kids and adults.

These puppies are F1 Goldendoodles, so they’ll have that beautiful, wavy coat. Momma is a purebred Golden Retriever & the sire is a Poodle. There’s never a guarantee, but because of the Poodle genetics, these dogs will likely shed much less than other purebred dogs.

Temperament
Possibly the original Doodles, Labradoodles make amazing all-around family members. Though not as common, they’re similar to Goldendoodles in personality and temperament. They’ll get along well with other animals and love people. They’re very intelligent and train easily. They’ll be gentle, doting, empathetic and loyal!

Activity & Lifestyle
Our Labradoodles are descendants of our amazing AKC English Labs and are a fantastic all-around pet. They adapt well to different living conditions and activity levels.
Labradoodles are playful, fun and love to be challenged. But especially because of the English genes, these will have a milder temperament. English Labs well known for two things – their beautiful, boxy, stocky appearance, and their wonderful, more laid-back temperament. The English Labradoodles will have that tendency.
These dogs will grow to be in the 45-75 pound range most likely, with the fox-reds being smaller than the chocolates.

If you’re a fan of Labs but are tired of the shedding and allergies, these might be the perfect option for you!
These puppies are F1 English Labradoodles, (50/50 English Lab and Poodle) so they’ll have a beautiful, slightly straighter to wavy coat. Mommas are purebred, AKC English Labs & the sires are Poodles. There’s never a guarantee, but because of the Poodle genetics, these dogs will likely shed much less than other purebred dogs.

Temperament
These puppies will have a friendly, playful, whimsical temperament. They’re not “serious” dogs and won’t demonstrate “worker” tendencies like herding or heeling. Rather, they’d rather just play and love! They’re excellent with children and get along very well with other pets. They’re also usually very intelligent and are trainable due to their eagerness to please.

Activity & Lifestyle
AMDs have a playful personality and love activity. They’re perfect for families with kids, love exercise and will get along very well at daycare, puppy parks or on puppy play dates. But because of the Bernese genetics that they carry, they also typically have an “off-switch”. They’ll cuddle up with you, too! Maggie’s puppies will be small-medium sized dogs, growing to be in the 25-40 pound range most likely.

Temperament
A cross between the two smartest dog breeds on the planet, the Border Collie and the Poodle, the Bordoodle is truly an amazing breed. Bordoodles are quick learners and are capable of living well with almost any family, in any environment. They tend to be high IQ dogs and they love children and love to play. And if you have other animals or pets, they usually get along well with other animals.

Activity & Lifestyle
Because of the Border Collie’s genetic tendency to want to work, Bordoodles are often dogs with higher drive than some of the other Doodle breeds. Many Bordoodles love being active; they’ll play fetch, love going for walks, jogs or going on hikes and will enjoy traveling with you. But don’t worry, they have an off switch and always love to snuggle at the end of the day!
Bordoodles are great for families with kids, but as always, we recommend some training early in the dog’s life. Bordoodles are so smart that just a little training early on can make for many years of happiness for both you, and the dog!
