Bringing home your Lost Creek puppy
From your deposit to the day your pup curls up in your lap, here's exactly how it works. Most of our puppies go home the weekend after they turn 8 weeks old.
3 ways to get your Lost Creek puppy
Pick the one that fits you best. Questions? Text or email us anytime.
Join the waiting list
$500 deposit, 50% refundableSave your spot to choose from an upcoming litter. When a litter is born, you can take a puppy based on your place in line, or pass and wait for the next one without losing your spot. You'll probably get an even earlier pick next time!
Most families go this route. The steps below walk you through it.
First pick of the litter
$1,000 premiumWant first choice? For a $1,000 premium, you jump to the top of the next litter, ahead of the waiting list. Your deposit is $1,000, and the balance is due at pickup.
Doesn't apply to litters that are already born. Just let us know you'd like this option.
Join the standby list
No depositNot 100% sure you're ready? Join the standby list, and when we have a puppy available, we'll email you a picture and some info. It's first come, first served!
Standby doesn't guarantee a puppy. You'll only hear from us when one is available.
How it works, start to finish
Four simple steps, and we'll be texting you photos and videos the whole way.
Apply & place a deposit
Send us your application, then a $500 deposit holds your spot and goes toward your puppy's price. It's 50% refundable at any time, for any reason. We'll email you a digital health contract to sign, plus tips and a recommended supply list.
Pick your puppy
We go down the list one family at a time, in deposit order. You'll have about 48 hours to choose. If no pup in the litter is the right fit, you keep your place for the next one.
Final payment
Your balance is due the first Friday after your pup turns 9 weeks, or at pickup, whichever comes first. It must be paid in full before any travel.
Go-home day!
Most pups go home the weekend after they turn 8 weeks. Smaller breeds sometimes stay a little longer so they're ready.
How your puppy gets home
Our farm is closed to visitors to protect our puppies from Parvo, so we bring your pup to you.
We deliver
We prefer to deliver your puppy ourselves. It means less stress and less car sickness. Pups ride up front with us in a crate with a false bottom, and we stop often along the way.
Meet us in town
We meet families at set spots across Texas and nearby states for a flat fee (see the list below). If several families share a trip, we split the cost.
Flying in or out of state
Our travel package includes curbside delivery at a major airport, a bag of food, an info packet, and a scent blanket. Some families fly into DFW and meet us curbside.
Meetup fees
Flat fee per trip. Don't see your city? Other locations are 65ยข per mile, round trip.
Out-of-state travel package: $2,900 for medium and standard pups, $3,000 for minis.

๐ก๏ธ Keeping your pup safe from Parvo
Your puppy isn't fully protected until after the third Parvo shot, and it can take up to a week after that final shot to kick in.
Until your vet gives the okay, keep your pup off unknown ground: parks, pet stores, dog parks, and rest stops. On the ride home, don't let those little paws touch the ground. A mess in the car is a lot better than a sick puppy!
๐ณ Paying for your puppy
We accept:
Need to make payments? We get it. Through PayPal, you can pay in 4 installments or on a monthly plan. You'll see both options on your invoice for the deposit and for the balance due at pickup.
We'll also consider a payment plan directly between us and your family. Either way, you take your puppy home on pickup day!
Can't pick up on time?
We can board your pup starting at 10 weeks for $20 a day. You'll just need to buy a crate for us to use. If we keep a pup longer for their own development, boarding is free.
Why no farm visits?
We closed the farm to visitors in 2019 to keep Parvo away from our puppies. Instead, we send lots of photos and videos, and we're happy to do a video call.
